|| Good News || PUBG Coming Soon in INDIA

A report by India TV claims that PUBG Mobile India will launch in first week of December – anytime between December 1 and December 5.

Amid reports that the much-awaited PUBG Mobile India will officially be launched in India in the first week of December, sources in the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) told Inside Sport that the Indian government is yet to give permission to the game to operate in the country again.

“Any banned entity can’t operate just by floating a new company. This even Tik Tok or anyone else can do. They will have to get permissions from MEITY to operate once again in India”, an unnamed ministry official affiliated with MeitY told Inside Sport.

It is to be noted that few days ago it was widely reported that the Indian version of PUBG Mobile India has been registered as a legitimate company in India after the approval of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. The reports also claimed that PUBG India Private Limited has been listed as a company on the Ministry's website with a valid Corporate Identity Number (CIN).

On November 12, PUBG Corporation had announced its plan to release a special Indian version of PUBG Mobile and since then fans of PUBG in India eagerly waiting for the official release. Several reports claim that PUBG Mobile India will officially be released in December first week but PUBG Corporation is yet to make any official announcement in this regard.

Government orders towards PUBG in INDIA

PUBG Mobile India was banned by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology under section 69A of the IT Act. Despite being registered as a company with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, they require a green signal from the government for the release.

Earlier, there were reports that the government may not allow PUBG Mobile's return to India unless the concerns have been addressed.

 Complete compliance

Another possible reason for the release's delay might be that the developers are trying to ensure they are completely compliant with the government's requirements so that there are no concerns after the release. Earlier in September, the game was banned due to security and privacy reasons.

For this, Krafton also inked a deal with Microsoft Azure, which will ensure that data privacy and security is on top of the priority list. With this partnership, the products of Krafton, including PUBG Mobile, will use the services of the Microsoft-owned company.

In-game changes and Indian server

The Indian version of the game will feature some changes compared to the game's global version, including the green hit effect, a feature to limit the game time, and more. Also, there is a possibility that the changes and servers are not yet ready but soon it is going to ready and take a comeback.
